Worst injury on the job

Talk about the worst injury you've ever had on the job. Whether it be a physical or emotional blow... or both!

I have sustained a number of injuries on the job. Half of which, I am convinced are by no means mere accidents. I believe my partner, Agent Scully, can attest to the fact. I know there are men out there working for the same government that I work for whose sole job is to protect the truth from being revealed.

That being said, I have been bitten by the 'Jersey Devil', thrown across the room by an alien force, bopped on the head by a fire extinguisher, hit by a car, knocked unconscious by an abducted gorilla, slashed on the face with a craft knife, beaten up, shot at, felled by a poisoned dart, imprisoned and tortured, whipped, electrocuted by a killer computer, attacked by a tree-like creature, attacked by a sea monster...

Ironically, and yet not surprisingly, through the years that I have dedicated my services to the FBI, I have yet to come up with conclusive evidence to support many of my theories relating to the X-Files. Which, aside from anything to do with the disappearance of my sister, Samantha, is the worst emotional blow I have had to suffer.

Federal Bureau of Investigation
Preliminary Case Notes by Special Agent Fox Mulder

U.S Forestry Service employee Dr. Mike Boefield is not the first person to have been reported missing from the environs of the White Mountain National Forest (located in northern New Hampshire and southwestern Maine). Two weeks ago, a similar case was reported when a local teacher at the Maine West High School was seen walking into the forest never to be seen or heard from again.

Reported sightings of UFOs and claims of witchcraft and alien abduction in the area may or may not be relevant. But given our jurisdiction to investigate the disappearance of Dr. Boefield, I am keen on taking the case.

Providing Agent Scully is amenable, I intend to depart for New Hampshire early tomorrow morning (Saturday).

Most memorable experience with your partner

I've always had a fascination with tapeworms. Are you aware that a single tapeworm can live for years in the digestive tract of a human body? The longest tapeworm to ever be pulled out of a human intestine was a staggering 39 meters (128 ft.). Still, if you think that's disgusting, wait till you see this:

Saying that's an ugly mugshot would be an understatement. But there you have it; our suspect, our killer: The Flukeman. Spawned from radioactive waste taken from the Chernobyl disaster, we cannot deny that we created this creature, this genetic mutation. The Flukeman (as seen in the photo above) has the appearance of a humanoid tapeworm. But unfortunately, we cannot ascertain its true species.

How did we encounter the Flukeman?

Well, a few years ago, my partner and I were called in to investigate the mysterious deaths of two men; one on a Russian cargo ship and another in a sewer in Newark, New Jersey. I cited both as a murder case but upon further investigation, Scully found a parasite living inside one of the bodies, and it appeared as if the victim had been attacked and bitten.

Cue the Flukeman.

So how does it kill?

It sinks its teeth into its victim's back and injects them with a tapeworm, turning them into a host, and naturally, taking a good chunk of flesh in the process. The good news is that people can survive being bitten by the Flukeman. What you can't survive is having the Flukeman's tapeworm leave your body. Which it will eventually do - usually, in a matter of a few hours.

Where is the Flukeman now?

At one point, we managed to capture the Flukeman, but it escaped. Luckily for the people of Newark, I found it and sliced it in half.

Now here comes the bad news...

We lost the other half of its body; the one with the pretty face. I believe it's still out there. Alive.

by Dave Barry

01. “You can only be young once. But you can always be immature.”

02. “What Women Want: To be loved, to be listened to, to be desired, to be respected, to be needed, to be trusted, and sometimes, just to be held. What Men Want: Tickets for the world series.”

03. “If you had to identify, in one word, the reason why the human race has not achieved, and never will achieve, its full potential, that word would be 'meetings'."

04. “It is a well-documented fact that guys will not ask for directions. This is a biological thing. This is why it takes several million sperm cells . . . to locate a female egg, despite the fact that the egg is, relative to them, the size of Wisconsin.”

05. “Washington is nicknamed "The Evergreen State" because it sounds better than "The Incessant Nagging Drizzle State".”

06. “All of us are born with a set of instinctive fears - of falling, of the dark, of lobsters, of falling on lobsters in the dark, or speaking before a Rotary Club, and of the words "Some Assembly Required”

07. “People who want to share their religious views with you almost never want you to share yours with them. ”

08. "The Internet is the most important single development in the history of human communication since the invention of call waiting."

09. "Violence and smut are of course everywhere on the airwaves. You cannot turn on your television without seeing them, although sometimes you have to hunt around."

10. "I would not know how I am supposed to feel about many stories if not for the fact that the TV news personalities make sad faces for sad stories and happy faces for happy stories."

Hi, I'm FBI Special Agent Mulder.

01. I'm a former psychological profiler for the Behavioral Science Unit and I used to work as a field agent and profiler for the Violent Crimes division.
02. My partner is Special Agent Scully; a petite redhead with a penchant for debunking unsolved mysteries.
03. Together, we work in the X-Files office and keep an eye out for cases with particularly mysterious or possibly supernatural circumstances that were left unsolved and shelved by the FBI.
04. I believe in UFOs and a government conspiracy to hide or deny the truth of their existence.
05. When I'm not on the road, I spend my time surfing the internet for information related to UFO sightings and other supernatural occurrences.
06. I regularly purchase underground DVD's from the Paranormal & Conspiracy DVD Archives as well as from random websites online.
07. 'Family Alien Abduction Video', 'Crop Circles Investigations - Alien Signs?', 'Raw UFO Footage', 'UFO Encounters', 'Alien Probes & Autopsies', 'Crack Whores of America', 'Sperms of Endearment', 'Edward Penishands' are all part of my video collection.
08. I have an interest in sports - basketball and baseball. My favorite professional teams are the New York Yankees and the New York Knicks.
09.
